Chintana Seppä, BCST Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, Bodyworker, Dance Alchemy Therapist and Mentor.
In 2001 autumn I was diagnosed with a hypothyroidism, called Hashimoto, and in that time I had been working as an IT-consultant in Milan, in Italy and had already started regular meditation and meditative therapies. Quite suddenly I had difficulty to get up in the morning as my energy lever was down. The following years I was accompanied by exhaustion and tiredness even though I had started the thyroid medication.
This made me to change my life in a way that I quitted my job and moved to close to a sea. Then I started giving dance therapy classes and went though many therapies myself and later went to India to meditate and study and I graduated as a bodywork therapist. I had the chance to work as a therapist in the most luxurious SPA in Milan and had many exclusive clients who highly valued my deep touch and presence. That was very gratifying period of my life and I loved my work.
But I continued to be accompanied by tiredness and low energy levels for several years. My beloved partner and I moved to live in Provence in France and there I got pregnant very soon. The pregnancy time was so blossoming and golden time for me, I gave it all for myself and my little baby growing in my belly. I was daily meditating, doing yoga, moving my body in the nature, taking rest when needed, doing in various alternative preparations for birth and we were living in a wonderful place surrounded by amazing view to the hills in the countryside in Provence. I had physically an easy and flowing home birth, our beloved son was welcomed by the song Amazing Grace played by my partner and the presence of my wonderful midwife.
Then after the birth of our son I started to be very tired again. That was quite challenging time with a new born baby to take care of.
It was not until 2014 during the third seminar of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy that something sifted in me. Like the lights got on and my energy levels started to rise importantly. The training involved taking plenty BCST sessions from certified BCST therapists plus numerous exchange sessions between students. In addition my 18 month old son started to be more calm and fall asleep easier. I got passionate with this new advanced therapy and how incredible, gentle, deep and life transforming can it be. Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy has transformed my life. I started to gain more energy and joy in my life, feel whole and be more present in my life.
Now I am certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and have been blessed to work as a bodywork and dance therapist internationally since 2004. I’ve met some of the most heartfelt human beings on the planet, and have had the good fortune to learn directly from some the world’s leading modality developer, including Bhadrena C. Tschumi-Gemin, MA, BCST, Kavi A. Gemin, osteopath, BCST, Sathyarthi Peloquin, Maneesha Mc’Clure and Dominique Degranges.
